Portrait Pricing
We really wanted to come up with an idea to help our clients get the print sizes they want and benefit from a significant savings so we came up with packages based on a print credit system. Print sizes are allotted a credit amount and clients spend their credits until the package limit is reached. Packages include my sitting fee of $185.
Clients can also pay for a session and prints on an a la carte basis. Please call the studio at 757.489.1320 for a consultation and to receive our package and print prices.
The 411 on Portrait Sessions:
A typical session with me lasts up to 90 minutes, with breaks taken for young children and babies, if needed. I’m a pretty laid back person and I really want your kids to have fun during the photo session. I’ll ask them to do some posing, but I don’t mind letting them take the lead, too. The results are fantastic and everyone is happy!
I shoot all over the Hampton Roads area on location or in your home. To book a session with me, all I require is a 50% deposit of the sitting fee to hold your date. On the day of the session, the remainder of the sitting fee is due. Once you have booked a session, I will follow up with a short phone consultation to go over details such as clothing to wear and styling for the session.
Ten days after your session, a slideshow of 35-55 images from your session will be posted on our website. It is password-protected to be viewed only by you, your family, and friends. I will artistically finish all images before presenting them in the slideshow. The slideshow is active for 14 days (the slideshow can be re-activated after it expires for $25). During the slideshow period, I will contact you to make arrangements for you to come to our office to view the images on our flat screen, wall-mounted TV. This will be the best time for you to place your order. If you have bought a package, the remainder of the package price (minus the sitting fee deposit) will be due at the time of placing the order. If you purchase a la carte, the payment for your order is due at the time of placing the order. I take cash, checks, and credit cards. Five percent sales tax will be added to your order. Shipping charges apply to cities outside Norfolk, Virginia.
The photographs you order from the session are artistically and professionally finished by me and printed on the finest quality archival paper. Prints 11×14 and over are mounted to a substrate and ready to frame. Additional finishes and textures are available at an extra price and are outlined in the pricing folio you will receive when you call for a consultation.
