Ashley and Tommy had a great wedding on the beach at Fort Story in Virginia Beach and continued with their reception at the Fort Story Beach Club. Photographing a wedding at the perfect time of day always makes for some great shots. The couple even brought their pet fish to enjoy the evening. Their family and friends were awesome and a special thanks to Chris from Astro DJ’s for rockin’ the house. Congrats you two!!

Rachel and Sargent had a beautiful wedding at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. Their reception was at Breezy Point Officer’s Club at Norfolk Naval Base. They ordered up a great day for the wedding with blue skies and a day that wasn’t too hot at all. The reception was a blast and this group knew how to dance and have a good time! When I first met Dorinda and Chad and they told me about their wedding day, I was really excited. They had this vision of getting married on one of the sandbars in the Lynnhaven River, behind Lesner Inn, and they pulled it off. Me and about 20 guests boated over, hopped out and watched as Dorinda and Chad exchanged their vows. The kicker was we were all standing in ankle deep water, as the tide began to return! Afterwards, everyone headed over to the Lesner Inn for the reception where a lot more people showed up for a rocking good time! Beth and Rob had a fantastic wedding with family and friends coming in from all over the country. They were married at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth and had their reception at the Towne Point Club in Norfolk. Both venues are great places to photograph. Also, Daevid did the flowers, which were fantastic, and the staff at Towne Point Club were outstanding. Great wedding, Beth and Rob. I know everyone had a great time!

Becky and Kyle had their whole wedding day, ceremony and reception, at the Cavalier on the Hill in Virginia Beach. I love this hotel and always said if I’m ever lucky enough to find myself the winner of some lottery, I’ll be buying her;)).
