“I do!” is done
Michelle Kilgore, of Weddings by Michelle, met with several vendors with an idea to “do something different” compared to other bridal fairs and of course we all said we’d be glad to be involved. Well, Sunday came and we, along with a crowd of brides, grooms and friends, were completely amazed at what Michelle pulled off and the event was truly AMAZING!!! Great job to you and your team, Michelle. I’m really proud of you for putting this together. Truly spectacular!! Thanks for letting me be a part of it. I was asked to document the event, so check out just a few of the pictures I made throughout the event.

Sharon and Franklin
I was lucky enough to be recommended to Sharon and Franklin by a good friend of mine who has worked with Franklin on video projects at NASA. Their amazing wedding was at the Hampton University chapel which is one of the most structurally beautiful churches I’ve seen. The arches inside are incredible and the stained glass is really something. Sharon and Franklin celebrated the night with family and friends at the Virginia Air and Space Museum in Hampton, where Sharon once worked. She always thought it would be a great place to have a reception. One of the things the couple really wanted to do was get some pictures of the two of them on the carousel nearby. We were able to do that before the reception began and had a lot of fun with it. Here are my favorites from the night.

Melissa and Scott
I had a chance to travel to the Outer Banks for Melissa and Scott’s wedding at the beautiful Bald View Inn at Kitty Hawk. I really enjoy getting down there and the Outer Banks is a great place for a destination wedding. Melissa and Scott had their reception at the newly renovated Pier at the Hilton Garden Inn. It’s a pretty cool place with the soaring ceilings. The whole crew had a really fun time dancing and getting down. I really enjoyed getting to know you guys and talking about Africa (Melissa and Scott honeymooned there as did Terri and I almost ten years ago!). Here are some pics from the day.
